Education

I completed an MA in ethnomusicology from the University of British Columbia in August 2012.

I graduated cum laude from Kenyon College in May 2007 with a B.A. in Music and a B.A. in Anthropology.

I have also done extensive private study of guitar, banjo, mandolin, and Indian music in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Central Ohio, and Vancouver, BC.
